Tashreeq Morris is the latest Amakhosi player linked with a probable departure out of Naturena as several Kaizer Chiefs contracts are set to expire at the end of the current 2025/26 league campaign.
Unfortunately, this is bad news for some of the current crop of Amakhosi players because it means their time at Naturena is coming to an end. It turns out that this Kaizer Chiefs attacker is one of the players who could suffer this fate.
KAIZER CHIEFS SET TO RELEASE R4-MILLION STRIKER
Morris’s contract is set to expire in June, with Kaizer Chiefs management reportedly not keen on extending his services.
“It is believed that his future at the club hangs in the balance because it looks like they won’t extend his contract when it expires at the end of the season,” the report read on Soccer Laduma.
Remember, he was linked with a loan move out of Naturena in January. However, the move did not materialise.

A MOVE IS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF BOTH PARTIES
So, if these reports are true, the attacker will have to find a new club for next season.
It does make sense given the fact that he has fallen out of favour with Cedric Kaze and Ben Youssef. He currently plays second fiddle – at best – to the likes of Flavia Silva, Wandile Duba, Ashley Du Preez and Etioso Ighodaro.
“So, due to a lack of game time, it seems it’s unlikely that they could renew his contract for next season or beyond,” the same publication added.
Ultimately, for Morris a move out of Naturena is in his best interest as he searches for more regular playing time. Whereas, Kaizer Chiefs do not seem to have plans for the attacker.
DO YOU THINK KAIZER CHIEFS SHOULD LOAN OUT MORRIS OR SHOULD THEY SELL HIM PERMANENLTY?
