9 Kaizer Chiefs youngsters sent out on loan

Posted on January 23, 2026

A fresh additional list of Kaizer Chiefs youngsters have followed Samkelo Zwane and Happy Mashiane out on loan.

The update also follows after the club’s DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) signed Xhosa Manyana from Cape Town City FC.

NKOSANA MBUTHU LEAVES AMAKHOSI ON LOAN

The latest announcement has been Nkosana Mbuthu’s move to Leicesterford City FC in the Motsepe Foundation Championship (MFCP).

In the notoriously brutal division, Kaizer Chiefs are hoping the players will gain experience, minutes, and maturity in competitive environments away from Naturena.

“Kaizer Chiefs can confirm that Nkosana Mbuthu has joined Leicesterford City FC, which competes in the National First Division, on loan for the 2026 season,” the club noted.

“The club wishes Nkosana every success during his time at Leicesterford City FC as he continues his development and gains valuable match experience.

“He remains an Amakhosi player and carries the pride and values of the Kaizer Chiefs badge with him, on and off the field. We wish him a strong and successful loan spell,” Kaizer Chiefs concluded.

NINE KAIZER CHIEFS YOUNGSTERS ON LOAN

Zwane (central midfielder) and Mashiane (left back) were first to join the Betway Premiership’s Siwelele FC before the start of the season.

Sabelo Radebe (central midfielder) was also loaned to Richards Bay FC in the Betway Premiership was deemed surplus to requirements. The winger Donay Jansen faced a similar fate before returning to the Kaizer Chiefs DDC team.

Midfielder Manqoba Ozoemena (central midfielder) and wide player Ofentse Kgosana (left wing/wing back) have moved to Casric Stars in the MFC.

The dynamic centre back Sima Bobo has joined Mochudi Centre Chiefs in Botswana. Xolani Cossa, who plays as a left-sided central defender, is also in the same country with Black Lions.

Closer to home, Siyabonga Gumede, a central defender and the right back, Sifiso Timba, are both on loan at Gomora United in the MFC.
