Mamelodi Sundowns will indeed operate under a new system.

Mamelodi Sundowns took to social media to confirm their latest casualty on Friday.

The Brazilians have parted ways with midfielder Neo Maema. This comes less than 24 hours after announcing the departure of Thembinkosi Lorch!

Lorch has been tipped to join Wydad Athletic Club on a permanent transfer, according to Citizen.

In previous years, Masandawana maintained a rather bloated squad. Despite some players not being in their plans, they remained at the club earning a healthy salary.

Now, a new dawn has started at Mamelodi Sundowns. This new dawn however has seen the departure of 12 first team players, and there could be more! Take a look at the full list below.

What do you make of Cardoso’s approach?

Is it something that could possibly hurt Mamelodi Sundowns? Or was it much needed? The club will be competing for five trophies this season.
