It’s been a relentles hunt for strikers at Kaizer Chiefs since 2020, from Samir Nurkovic’s success to Leonardo Castro’s flashes of brilliance.

Caleb Bimenyimana showed promise in patches, while Jasond Gonzalez never quite got going. Ashley Du Preez brought pace, Ranga Chivaviro brought strength, and most recently, Tashreeq Morris and Flavio Silva have tried to shoulder the goal-scoring load.

The latest attempts have been the arrivals of Flavio Silva and Etiosa Ighodaro.
